V-Day weekend

This year we kinda thought we'd have our little guy here with us for valentines day but no such luck. Being 40 weeks pregnant and waiting for our little one we took it pretty easy over the weekend. It was great to have a nice long weekend together to get to just relax and spend time together waiting for our boy to come. Andy had monday off for presidents day so it was an extra long and relaxing weekend together.

Friday afternoon Andy had great idea, we went out and did some toy shopping for our little guy. We went to a few different really cool toy shops  around town to check them out. We found these great classic wooden toys that we got for him, the pegs that you pound into the stand with a wooden mallet and also big wooden brightly colors balls that are all tied together. There were so many great things that we are already excited to get our little guy and let him play with. Quite a few of them will have to wait until he's a bit older though. It was a ton of fun getting to go out toy shopping together and just think of all the fun we'll have with our little guy. We also went by the outlets in Castle Rock over the weekend to walk around and found an adorable little outfit for him as well. He wasn't quite ready to come over the weekend but we had a great time getting a few little things for him and spending a lot of time talking about how excited we are to have him here.

Sunday morning Andy got up and made a delicious breakfast for us, fresh blueberry pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice and he also had some beautiful flowers waiting when I got up. We had a nice leisurely breakfast and then went on our long walk around the neighborhood to Harvard Gulch Park and had our second false alarm.
