This year we made Halloween a weekend long event. Ethan was a doggie and we loved it; mostly because of how much he loved being a doggie! He got all excited at the mention of doggie costume and would beg to put it on. He even respond when we said 'where's our doggie' and did a little growl.
Friday night we went to the Chatfield Corn Maze, it was pretty muddy but a lot of fun! Ethan found his way through the kids corn maze and we attempted part of the regular one. Ethan loved running in the mud and finding corn in the field for us. He is such an outdoors kid he loved exploring a brand new type of place.

corn is so much fun to find
Saturday afternoon we went to the Trick-or-Treat Street at the Childrens Museum, he loved getting to trick-or treat, and most of of watch all of the trains they had to ride. He was too cute trick-or-treating and he waved to all the girls handing out candy as we walked away.

On Monday for Halloween Ethan and I joined up with our group Mountain Mommas and did trek-or-treat. It was a fun little 1/2mile hike at Lookout Mountain and the weather couldn't have been better for it. Ethan decided that it would be fun to collect rocks and pine cones along the trail in his pumpkin bucket in addition to the actual treats. That's my nature boy. We met some friends along the path and had a fun time hiking in costumes together. On our way home we visited dad at work and picked him up for a picnic lunch.
Ethan got very excited about the snow plow in the parking lot as we were leaving.
