Ethan got his first bottle from Dad last night. Andy got to feed Ethan a bit with a syringe when we were in the hospital and one of the first nights home, but this was his first time he got to give him a bottle and feed him an actual meal. They both loved it! It's such a special bonding time getting to feed Ethan and really precious time we get to spend caring for him and connecting. It's really satisfying for Ethan, he's so alert and happy during and especially after he's been fed. Ethan was really surprised at first that he was getting milk from Dad but was definitely pleasantly surprised, he looked at Andy during the entire feeding. Andy loved getting to feed Ethan! I think we'll make feeding times with Dad a regular part of our week.
